Reporting directly to the Founders, the General Manager will lead all aspects of day-to-day business operations, financial performance, and team development. You will drive structure, scale, and sustained profitability across multiple service lines while embedding high-performance systems and a leadership culture capable of supporting the next growth phase. This role will appeal to a hands-on, execution-focused operator with a strong commercial mindset, proven experience leading trade or field-service teams, and an ability to balance strategic vision with operational discipline. Key Responsibilities Lead business operations across multiple trades and service lines, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and customer excellence. Deliver growth targets of 30% year-on-year, scaling the organisation toward a $20M group turnover. Establish and integrate new divisions to complement the existing core business. Manage divisional P&L, budgeting, and forecasting with a focus on profitability (>50% Gross Margin, >25% Net Profit). Build and mentor high-performing leadership and field teams, maintaining >90% retention. Champion technology utilisation (ServiceTitan, ClickUp, 3CX) to drive visibility, automation, and data-driven decision making. Maintain elite standards of customer service (Google Rating ≥4.8★, callback rate Ideal Candidate Profile Senior operational or general management experience within fast growing startup or boutique operations (trade, construction, or field services industries highly regarded, but not compulsory) Demonstrated success scaling teams, systems, and profitability. Commercially astute with full P&L accountability and performance management experience. Deep understanding of technology-enabled field operations and business automation tools. Strong communicator with the ability to lead from the front, engage tradespeople, and partner with founders. Results-driven, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.
